Originally over 200 years old, the finca has recently been completely renovated to meet the highest standards. The 200 m2 house has two floors. The ground floor is completely open-plan and combines living, cooking and dining in the best possible way. The corner window front in the adjoining dining area can be opened completely on both sides, creating an incredible feeling of space and a wonderful connection to the outside area. The living area on the other side creates a particularly cosy atmosphere thanks to the natural stone wall and offers an elegant contrast to the stylish grey concrete ceiling beams. The floating fireplace in matt black creates a cosy atmosphere, and not just on cold days. The floors throughout the house are made of jointless microcement with integrated underfloor heating and were made by a specialist from Germany. The minimalist black iron staircase leads to the upper floor, where three bedrooms are located. The master bedroom also features a beautiful combination of authentic Mallorcan stone walls and modern concrete ceiling beams. The room has a separate bathroom with shower and a private terrace with wonderful views. The hallway leads to the second bedroom in the centre area. Adjacent to this is a large bathroom with a shower and free-standing bathtub for plenty of cosy moments. The third bedroom at the end of the hallway offers lots of space to relax and unwind. The spacious saltwater pool with relaxation zone in the outdoor area, also made of jointless, waterproof microcement and with a silky-soft surface, leaves nothing to be desired when it comes to water fun. In the sunlight, it appears in a beautiful, iridescent colour. The pool was manufactured by a specialised company from Ibiza. The picturesque village of Alaró is located in a quiet valley between two well-known mountains in the south of the Tramuntana mountain range. It is located in the centre of the island of Mallorca and currently has more than 5,700 inhabitants. It is about 20 minutes from the centre of Palma, as well as from the nearest beaches and the airport. It has numerous restaurants, as well as our beautiful Engel & Völkers office in the town square. It stands out for its old architecture and beautiful cobbled streets in the oldest part of the village, as well as for the surrounding nature. Alaró is home to a weekly market every Saturday, where one can find local fresh produce and clothes. In addition, its inhabitants of different nationalities give it a great cultural diversity. One of the most famous sights is the Castell d'Alaró, which is situated on the top of the mountain at an altitude of 822 metres and is listed as a site of cultural interest. The castle has stunning views of the Mallorcan countryside and as far as the bay of Palma, and is about two hours' walk from the centre of the village. It is a popular village for cyclists and hikers as it has some of the best routes on the island. The most important industry for the village was the shoe industry, which once numbered 30 factories, and today still includes the workshop of Tony Mora, world famous for his handmade cowboy boots.
