Unique, modern townhouse in Alaró
One of Alaro’s most unique contemporary townhouses, ideally situated on the outskirts of town and the edge of the countryside.
This modern townhouse was built in 2016 and offers both generous spaces and easy maintenance. It is defined by the wonderful living space, both inside and outside on the terrace and in the garden. The house offers privacy, as well as modern design and facilities, including one of the only indoor pools in Alaró.
Upon entering the house, the special design catches the eye, emphasising volume and light. The ground floor opens into a living-dining area that leads to the terrace and garden and has large glass windows and sliding doors. Adjacent to the living room is a fitted kitchen and an open garage with space for two cars.
The property is spread over three floors, plus a basement and roof terrace. On the first floor are three double bedrooms and three bathrooms, including a master bedroom en-suite with walk-in wardrobe and mountain views.
On the second floor one finds the indoor pool with views of the Traumuntana and access to the roof terrace with its stunning views of the twin sister mountains.
The picturesque village of Alaró is located in a quiet valley between two well-known mountains in the south of the Tramuntana mountain range. It is located in the centre of the island of Mallorca and currently has more than 5,700 inhabitants. It is about 20 minutes from the centre of Palma, as well as from the nearest beaches and the airport. It has numerous restaurants, as well as our beautiful Engel & Völkers office in the town square. It stands out for its old architecture and beautiful cobbled streets in the oldest part of the village, as well as for the surrounding nature. Alaró is home to a weekly market every Saturday, where one can find local fresh produce and clothes. In addition, its inhabitants of different nationalities give it a great cultural diversity. One of the most famous sights is the Castell d'Alaró, which is situated on the top of the mountain at an altitude of 822 metres and is listed as a site of cultural interest. The castle has stunning views of the Mallorcan countryside and as far as the bay of Palma, and is about two hours' walk from the centre of the village. It is a popular village for cyclists and hikers as it has some of the best routes on the island. The most important industry for the village was the shoe industry, which once numbered 30 factories, and today still includes the workshop of Tony Mora, world famous for his handmade cowboy boots.
