Ciudad Quesada

City of a thousand nationalities

Although technically not more than a suburb we should really consider Ciudad Quesada as being a real town composed of more than 30,000 homes. Its population is about 15,000 inhabitants, which, as in the rest of the Costa Blanca, multiplies during the summer. And this is a truly international community, where the Spanish inhabitants are a minority. The Spaniards who have settled here have been attracted by the diversity of nationalities.

If you don't wish to, there is no need to leave Ciudad Quesada at all, as it houses a wide variety of bars, restaurants, shops, and even a brand-new shopping centre. In addition, the town is located in the midst of a beautiful hillside on which Ciudad Quesada has built a designer golf course, the "La Marquesa" course. But if you do leave Ciudad Quesada you will find everything close by; ten minutes away, and you have the wonderful beaches of Torrevieja and just a little farther away, you will find all that the province of Alicante can offer.
