Integrity Policy

This Integrity Policy describes the privacy practices for MiMove and how we obtain, use and store data. By using MiMove’s products and services you accept our Privacy Policy and the way we obtain, use and store your data.

Information Obtained

You may directly or indirectly provide MiMove with information about yourself, for example when you sign up for our newsletter, or when you use the contact form on MiMove.com to contact an affiliated real estate agency. Should you contact a third party via MiMove.com, the details will be provided also to the third party. We also may collect data you haven’t provided actively, for example which language settings you have on your computer or smart phone in order for us to know which language version of MiMove.com we should use when you visit us.

We may collect:

  • Personal and contact information such as name, email address, mobile phone number.
  • Device specific data such as IP-address, language settings and web browser settings.

Why do we need to obtain data?

The main reason for collecting personal data is for us to provide, execute, and improve our products and services.

Do we have the right to obtain and store personal data?

The legal term ”legitimate interest” gives MiMove the legal right to collect and store personal data. Legitimate interest means that our usage of said personal data is necessary in order for us to provide our service or product to you. For example, MiMove has a legitimate interest to store your email address in order for us to distribute our newsletter to you when you have signed up for it, or for you to be able to save interesting property listings. Another legitimate interest is to ensure our products and services are as user friendly and relevant as possible. Therefore, we might contact you with information about new services and functionalities if we deem there is a legitimate interest based on a historical usage of our products and services. To decide whether something is of legitimate interest or not there is always a balance between MiMove’s usage of your personal data and your need for integrity.

MiMove will never sell your personal data to anyone. However, we might share your personal data with carefully selected third parties, for example business partners, and providers of business systems, and case management providers. If so, we will ensure the transfer of your personal data while safeguarding your integrity. We will also comply with any legislation and order by legal authorities.

Where do we handle your personal data?

As a principal rule we manage your personal data within the EU/EES. Should the personal data be handled outside of the EU/EES we will ensure that the management of said data complies with the safety- and integrity-regulations within the EU/EES.

How long will we keep your data?

MiMove will store and keep personal data for as long as it is necessary to execute relevant products and services. Decrees from authorities may influence for how long data is being kept.

Your rights

Regardless of what data we have obtained from you, you are always in control of your data. Your legal rights are:

  • You have the right to be forgotten and deleted from our systems
  • You have the right to correct your personal data
